How will you stand up for life today--and every day?
People gathered at the Historic Depot to pray, listen to the essay winners from this year's contest, and finally, hear an inspirational message from Pastor Jonathan Lange. It was then time to line up and march to the state supreme court building. A total of 287 people braved the cold January wind. The march ended at the State Supreme Court building. State Representative Sue Wilson gave some profound remarks, and then we were blessed to hear a few words from Lisa Robertson (of the Duck Dynasty clan). It is Lisa's birthday today. If she came all the way from Louisiana to celebrate her birthday with us here in Wyoming, I am inclined to think she will choose a warmer locale next time. I think she was frozen by the time we were finished today. Those attending the banquet this evening will hear a lengthier presentation from Lisa in a much warmer environment as we gather at the Little America Hotel and Conference Center.
