Those catechumens and cadidates preparing to enter the Church at the Easter Vigil embark on an exciting adventure of purification and enlightenment during these holy days of Lent. How will these days of Lent be set apart for you? When Easter arrives will you notice a deeper prayer life because of the discipline of Lent? Will fasting and other mortifications of the senses enrich your desire to be more fully united to Christ? Will your outreach to the poor and marginalized take on a new significance?
Please do not let these days of Lent pass you by without growing in wisdom and grace before God!
