Snow blanketed the ground this morning in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area. During the winter when we are shoveling large amounts of snow, I frequently see the meme stating that "at least we don't have hurricanes." I suppose that should give me some consolation, but I will never be a fan of receiving snow as early as September and October.
The leaves were able to hang on through the wind and snow. Hopefully, the weight of the wet snow will not do too much damage.
