The photo above popped up this morning on social media as a memory from four years ago. It is hard to believe that four years have passed since I had the privilege and joy of leading a retreat for the diaconate community in the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau. That was a magnificent gathering, and I am extremely grateful to have met these wonderful people.
It was a busy time back in 2015 during the month of September. Just four days prior to flying to St. Louis for this retreat from Cheyenne, I had the pleasure of sharing a speaking platform with Susan Conroy at the Wyoming Council of Catholic Women State Convention. Meeting her and hearing her story in person was beautiful. If you have never seen her on EWTN, I would recommend finding some video snippets on the internet to hear her story.

Twenty years of ordained ministry has taken me on a journey I could have never imagined. It is a joy to continue making new memories. I am grateful for all who have touched my life in a positive way through the years.
