The season of Spring generally brings excitement. Although the weather can still be a bit on the harsh side we can also anticipate warmer days. This leads to green grass, flowering trees and shrubs, and a sense of new life. These are immense blessings indeed.
As we enter into Holy Week we also keep in mind the new life we have in Christ. Thanks to the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus we have been redeemed. Do we cherish this new life as profoundly as the new life of Spring? The mysteries we celebrate this week are the bedrock of our Christian faith. Please don't miss the opportunity to enter fully into the life of the Church this week as we celebrate Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Great Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday. Make the commitment to participate in all of the Sacred Liturgies of the Paschal Triduum.
