Actually, the models still aren't sure where the storm is headed. However, weather forecasters are certainly encouraging folks all up and down the coast to take the storm seriously. I hope it does not get to the point where we have to evacuate, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
Do you ever have those stretches of time where it seems nothing goes right? A couple of weeks ago I murmured to myself, "What else can go wrong?" It did not take long to get an answer to that question. HURRICANE!
In all seriousness, we each face storms in life. These can be actual weather-related storms, or they can be illness, loss of a job, broken relationships, death of a loved one, etc. How do we cope? What does our prayer life look like in the midst of the storm?
My dear readers, please know of my prayers for you today. I am lifting you up and asking God to give you the strength, courage, and perseverance you need to meet the challenges you are currently facing in life. I humbly ask that you pray for me and my family as well.
As we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary today, may we each be encouraged by Our Blessed Mother's intercession and follow her guidance which always leads us closer to her Son. The stewards at the Wedding Feast of Cana received simple instructions from Mary that would benefit all of us to follow.
"Do whatever He (Jesus) tells you."
