The ORDO says that she "led a life of great austerity and love in spite of ridicule and abuse." It is my impression that Christians of today are being called to that same austerity and love in the midst of ridicule and abuse. In many circumstances it seems that modern culture is not very hospitable toward Christian beliefs and principles. Some think that American political correctness grows more hostile toward Christianity with each passing day.
The "Lily of the Mohawks" demonstrates the ability to bloom where one is planted. May each of us produce abundant fruit regardless of the circumstances surrounding our daily lives!
