My wife and I were blessed to receive a gift card at Christmas for Sullivan's Steakhouse in Omaha.  We decided to enjoy lunch on Epiphany Sunday and make use of the gift card.  The irony of it all popped up on my phone as we returned home.  My phone reminded me of a memory from January 5, 2019.

What was the memory?  On January 5, 2019 we were at Sullivan's Island.  We had taken a trip to Charleston, South Carolina to do a little sightseeing and eventually we found ourselves in Sullivan's Island, a town and an island at the entrance to Charleston Harbor.  I can tell you without a doubt that it was much warmer at Sullivan's Island last year than it was today at Sullivan's Steakhouse.

Although I had been to Charleston several times prior to this particular visit, this was my first time to go to Charleston and act like a tourist.  The previous visits were for medical appointments at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).  Those were not much fun.  This trip was very different.  Charleston is a beautiful city.  If you ever have the chance to visit I would highly recommend it.

School returns to full swing again tomorrow at Saint Albert.  Thus, I am going to spend some time looking at photos for just a moment today and reminisce about warm weather and beautiful beaches.  While I enjoyed our trip across the river today to Omaha, I only have one photo of Sullivan's Steakhouse in Omaha, Nebraska. Fortunately, I have more from Sullivan's Island and the surrounding area of Charleston, South Carolina.  Feel free to accompany me on my photographic adventures down Memory Lane from January 5, 2019.
