A lengthy blog post with many photos has already been prepared for tomorrow. As I went through the photos it was like a trip down memory lane. My thanks to all of you that have touched my life in one way or another through all of these years. The journey continues.
My daughter sent me this photo recently. It struck me that today would be a good time to use it. Tomorrow is my 20th anniversary as a deacon, which means that today is the conclusion (sunset) of those first twenty years as a deacon. Tomorrow begins year number twenty-one. The goslings in this picture represent the new life that I feel beginning a new decade of ministry. This is especially true as we prepare to move so I can begin the next phase of ministry as the executive director of St. Albert Catholic Schools in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
