Finally, today marks twenty-nine years since my dad died. It's hard to believe he has been gone almost half of my life. This celebration of my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary (photo below) took place in September of 1992. On February 2, 1994, he was gone after a nine month battle with esophageal cancer.
