The Incarnation of Jesus Christ impacts us each and every day of our lives. How frequently do we miss the encounter? Let us recall our purpose here on earth. We are here to know, love, and serve God with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. Subsequently, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. If we do these things well, Ordinary Time is far from ordinary. Make the most of these four and a half weeks before we enter into the Season of Lent. Do some ordinary things extraordinarily well.
We entered back into Ordinary Time today. What did you see during the Christmas season? What did you experience? William Osler, a Canadian Physician said, "The value of experience is not in seeing much, but in seeing wisely." Do you see things any more wisely today than you did a couple of weeks ago?
