The fragile nature of life was freshly implanted in my mind. Every breath we take and every beat of our heart is a gift from God. How are we living these precious moments? I think it's time for a vacation.
A vacation would be nice, but I have some travels closer to home to attend to first.
Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Casper--here I come. I am looking forward to celebrating the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary tomorrow with you. Fr. Thomas has invited me to preach at the evening Mass and then I will be the presenter for the evening of catechesis. I am looking forward to being back in your parish.
This weekend I will be leading a retreat at St. Walburga Abbey for the Catholic men of Northern Colorado and Southeast Wyoming. It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful. I am looking forward to spending a weekend in this peaceful and tranquil setting with other Catholic men seeking to grow in holiness.
At the end of the month I will be in Gillette for a parish mission. I'll post a flyer soon. This is all good stuff. Vacation will have to wait.
