I apologize for my frequent absence from these pages in recent days. Allergies and respiratory issues have knocked me down significantly.  Going to work has been about the limit of my stamina.  The three day weekend has been a welcome guest.  I have used it to rest, and I am finally beginning to see some improvement in my condition.

We had a school pep rally last Thursday.  It was my pleasure to extend a blessing to all of our fall athletes at the end of the rally.

While not all of our sporting contests over the weekend resulted in victories for St. Albert, we are looking forward to some phenomenal experiences in the weeks and months ahead.

The St. Albert Sports Fan podcast was dropped on Friday.  It is a two-hour long segment.  The second hour is a discussion about my book, Articulating Hope.  If you listen to the podcast and decide you would like to have a copy of my book, I donated ten copies to the SPIRIT STORE at St. Albert.  If you purchase a copy from the SPIRIT STORE, your entire purchase price will benefit St. Albert Catholic Schools.

You can listen to the podcast here:

When the homepage comes up, scroll down toward the bottom where you will see a photo of Margaret and me.  Underneath our photo you will see a microphone that says "On The Hill."  Click on that.  The discussion about my book begins just after the one hour mark.  My thanks to Sports Fan for the opportunity to have this discussion.

Finally, I hope you had a nice Labor Day weekend.  As you wrap up the unofficial end to summer, please pray for all of the people in the path of the hurricane.  To my friends and readers in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, please know of my prayers for your safety.
