Thankfully, we can all have recourse to Jesus when we have fallen from grace. Repentance is a theme we hear echoed all throughout the Lenten season, and it is my hope that we have responded well to that call. Seeking forgiveness is step one. Step two is also included in today's Gospel reading. "Go and sin no more."
Can you imagine the fear that you would feel if a mob of people were about to stone you to death? The woman caught in adultery (today's Gospel reading) must have breathed a huge sigh of relief as her accusers departed one by one. The look of compassion from Jesus must have been overwhelming for her. "Has no one condemned you?"
